About 

Athena Phillips

A resident of Franklin, Tennessee, Athena is an author, tenured teacher in Williamson County Tennessee, and works in the children’s department at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library. Athena's dream to author children's books began while earning her graduate degree at Belmont University. Athena collaborated with Donte' Jackson to bring Herbie Vore the Dinosaur to life in her first published book, Herbie's Happy Birthday! When she's not working on Herbie's next adventure, Athena enjoys traveling to magical lands such as Austria, Budapest and Prague. She also teaches traditional Greek dance.

Donte' Jackson

Donte' Jackson is a writer, painter, poet and part-time philosopher.  A resident of Los Angeles, Donte’ specializes in character design and story development. The concept for Herbie Vore the Dinosaur's universe was born in his imagination.

His other projects include comic books, movie scripts, and a YouTube channel where he shares his passion for toy collecting and all things superhero related. In his spare time, Donte' enjoys playing basketball and watching documentaries, movies and cartoons.

Meredith Mills

Meredith is a freelance illustrator currently living in Southern California. She has been drawing since she was a toddler and now uses her graphic design skills to create lovable animal characters for children. Meredith was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to begin pursuing her career in art. When she's not drawing Herbie Vore and his friends, Meredith enjoys gardening, playing video games, and making music.

About Sarah Holroyd

Sarah is the owner of Sleeping Cat Books (https://sleepingcatbooks.com), an author services company providing copyediting, proofreading, and print/ebook design services to independent authors. She also runs the imprint Sleeping Cat Press, which releases bilingual English-French editions and multi-author anthologies.

Sarah spent the better part of a decade living and working in Europe with her husband, enjoying new cultures and making new friends, but is now back in the US, still trying to get over reverse culture shock.
